On October 9th, New Japan Pro-Wrestling will hold the Destruction In Ryogoku 2023 event in Tokyo, Japan. During the event, SANADA will defend the IWGP World Heavyweight Championship against EVIL and there will be five other title matches. After the show, we will share the results of NJPW Destruction In Ryogoku 2023.

- The best-of-seven series between Master Wato, Shota Umino, and Yuji Nagata against Strong Style ended in a tie.
- El Phantasmo and Hikuleo secured the NJPW STRONG Couples Championship from the Bullet Club War Dogs.
- Kazuchika Okada, Hiroshi Tanahashi, and Tomohiro Ishii emerged victorious in the NEVER Open Weight Championship 6-Man Tag Team, defeating Josh Alexander, Alex Shelley, and Chris Sabin.
- Tama Tonga claimed the coveted NEVER Open Weight Championship title after defeating David Finlay.
- Hiromu Takahashi successfully defended his IWGP Jr. Heavyweight Championship title against Mike Bailey and YOH.
- Taiji Ishimori challenged Takahashi for a title match post the fight.
- In the ‘Lumberjack Deathmatch,’ SANADA retained his IWGP World Heavyweight Championship title over EVIL.
- It is now official that SANADA will defend his title in the main event against Tetsuya Naito at Wrestle Kingdom 18.
